News - Failed winter expedition...

I've been putting off writing about this, but thought it was about time to get back in touch.

Basically, we had to cancel our expedition this January to Snowdonia due to illness. We had been preparing for this since the Summer. the UK had just been struck by some impressive snowfalls and winter weather and just as we became excited about what we may face, illness struck and we were forced to postpone and later completely cancel as we ran out of time. Our bags were packed ready to pick them up and walk out of the door and hike up a mountain in arctic conditions. I say all of this with a fairly heavy and frustrated heart. It has been much too long since our last adventure.

We're now looking to Spring/Easter time to do something big in Scotland and I assure you we will be going rain or shine. As mentioned in a previous blog, there is also the possibility of doing some mountain flight training whilst up there.
